Privacy Policy

Effective [DATE]. [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] (“Inside Pass”, “we”) runs the Inside Pass apps and this website.

What we collect

Account: first name, phone number or email, and the sign-in provider you choose (Apple, Google or phone).
Age check: confirmation that you are 21 or older. [Describe the ID verification provider and what it keeps.] We do not show your birthdate to anyone.
Profile: up to 4 photos, your status, and favorites you choose to add.
Venue check-ins: which venue you scanned into and when. We do not track your location in the background and never show your location to others, only the venue name while you are inside.
Messages and stories: chats and venue stories you send. Venue stories disappear when you leave or the venue closes.
Payments: drink payments are processed by the venue’s payment provider (Square or Stripe). We never receive or store your full card number.

Who sees what

You choose whether everyone in the venue, only friends, or nobody (ghost) can see you. People who are not your friends only see a limited profile: one photo, your first name and your venue status. Anyone you block can’t see you, message you or send you drinks.

No screenshots of the room

While you're checked in, Inside Pass blocks screenshots and screen recording of the app, so nobody can capture who is at a venue. If someone gets around it, they're warned, and repeat attempts go to our safety team. We never see or keep the image.

What venues see

Venues see totals (how many people are inside, drinks served, sales). For a drink you accepted, the bartender sees your first name and photo so they can check your ID. Venues never see your messages or who you talked to.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-app advertising.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account in the app (Settings → Account → Delete account) or at insidepass.app/delete-account. We delete your profile, photos, messages and sign-in details. We keep payment records only as long as tax law requires, without your name attached.
